Each year, Donald Young Safaris, Ltd. donates 130 calendar dates across High, Mid, and Low Seasons so Maasai families and community projects can access and benefit from the concession. All revenue from designated conservation stays goes directly to support education, livelihood, and environmental efforts.
Starting December 2025, special discounted rates for Kenya Residents and select Non-Resident guests will be available. 100% of the proceeds from these rates are donated to local Maasai families to support community conservation projects.
We offer an exclusive, classic safari experience rooted in over 30 years of conservation and community partnership. The concession was gifted to veteran guide Donald Young by Maasai families as a sign of trust and friendship. The camp combines traditional safari style, expert guiding, and outstanding personalized hospitality—while directly supporting local Maasai conservation initiatives.
Mara Haven Safari Camp is situated within a private 30-acre concession in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve, hidden within a pristine forest area. The location is intentionally secluded to provide an authentic wilderness experience, away from crowded tourist lodges.
